This is where ancient wisdom meets modern exploration. This project is guided by the seven Hermetic principles—applied to real life for clarity, self‑mastery, and balance in a noisy world.

This space isn’t about dogma. I’m not here to convince you, convert you, or hand you a single “truth.” What I share comes from my own journey—insights, practices, and lessons I’ve gathered along the way. Take what resonates, question what doesn’t, and always think critically for yourself.

As the saying goes: when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. I believe the reverse is true too: when the teacher is ready, the student appears. This site is for that meeting point—where curiosity, wisdom, and practice cross paths.

Hermetic Path is a safe, open place for anyone drawn here. You’ll find both everyday reflections and deeper esoteric practices. All are welcome to walk at their own pace.

This site will remain free and ad‑free. If you ever feel moved to support the work, I won’t turn down a cup of coffee, but it’s never expected. I do this because I feel called to—and I’ll keep sharing as long as there’s interest and I’m able.

Follow the Path . . .

The Path Ahead

New readers can start with Principles, then choose your Path (Everyday or Praxis). From there, explore focused Paths like Alchemy, Astrology, or Tarot—each with practical ways to apply the teachings.

Who am I?

I'm Alex—hello, hallo, and こんにちわ!

I created Hermetic Path to help others change their relationship to chaos. The world doesn’t have to feel the way it appears today. No hidden agenda, no clickbait, no 20‑minute pitch that ends in “buy this.” This is the anti‑that. If that sounds right to you, stick around—and let’s change the status quo.

Me at Hecate

This is me—maybe not who you’d expect. Here I am at Hecate in Boston, Mass.

Highly recommend!

The above “royal we” is actually just me.

Nerd Text Below

Oh, and last but not least: I first published this site using a basic web tool, but it didn’t let me build the experience I wanted. So I rebuilt it from the ground up—brick by brick—with Swift, a bit of CSS/HTML, and a light dusting of JS.

I was determined to build this with Apple’s Swift. After a lot of fishing around, I found Publish by John Sundell and a few other tools that make writing static sites in Swift "fun" and a little maddening at times 😅.

Publish’s last update was April 24, 2022. I’ve adapted my clone for macOS 26 and Swift 6.2, with some customizations.
